Well, as I post this, my new windows are being installed!! I am sooooooo excited, because I have had these windows for the past 5 weeks. About 4 weeks ago, there was a crew of 4 men here to install all of them. Paul took the old office window out and tried to put the new one in, only to say," they are too big." OMG, now what?

Bobby called the person that had told him how to measure the windows and told him they were the right size only to find out they had to remove the casings first.........thought they knew how to do this.

Bobby was tired of waiting for help, so he tried to put the office window in himself. Not going to happen, he ran into a problem and decided he needed a help.
So today, he has Tom here and the house has new eyes. What do you think of that?

Heads Up Tyler

Looks like Tyler needs a haircut! No wait, that is a hat he found on the top of the refridgerator. Bob has a little bit of everything up there and we came home Monday night to see this.

I do believe it is the new ski hat for the rest of the season. It is so funny to see him sit and play 007 with this on and NO it is not cold in the house. A true teenager on the loose.

Best Pancakes Ever

Hey Folks,
Just found the best pancake recipe ever. Why I say the best......because Tyler says they are better than Bisquick! So here is the recipe from the newspaper.

Easy Pancakes

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center, and our in milk, egg and oil. Mix until smooth.
Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Try them and let me know what YOU think.

MY NEW DO

OK, Now that my girls have bugged me about getting my hair all chopped off, they can't wait to see me in the flesh, so I have to show everyone.
I let Becky do what she wants with my hair and if I don't like it, well it grows so darn fast, no one will remember in a couple of months.
What does everyone think????
Keep it or grow it out????
And the votes begin.........

Our trip to the "LONE STAR STATE"

We left on Jan 27 from Pittsburgh, Pa, to Washington D.C. only to sit on a plane for 2 hrs. before landing in New Orleans, only to miss the next flight to Dallas, but to make it to Dallas on time later for our flight to Lubbock, only to be told we were not confirmed on that flight. Wait a minute, I have boarding passes.......not confirmed, not boarding, huh. Figure that one out. Well long story short, we slept in the Dallas, Fort Worth airport that night only to end up in San Antonio, Tx instead of Lubbock.

This trip took a reversal after all of that. Boy were we glad to have sunshine, warmth, good food and good drinks for the two days we were there. We went to the Alamo and loved learning about their fight for freedom and take a look at those horses, I mean longhorn steers. No, I didn't ride the steer.

Some of the buildings at the Alamo. Love that front porch. And this is me with all of my friends at the amphitheater on the grounds.

The Riverwalk in San Antonio, Tx was beautiful and a must if you ever get down that way.We walked, enjoyed the warmth, ate and drank for two full days. Our B & B was a quarter mile walk from all of this and was owned by a professional bull rider, Scott Tilleson (spelling?) He was great and I did try to sell him a horse. haha

These are just some of the places around the loop of the Riverwalk. We just walked and walked and, well you get the idea.

Of corse I had to have a drink at an Irish pub and the main drink of The Lone Star State is this beer of the same name. Bob had 2, so he must have liked it. But he is like Mikey, he likes everything.
