THE RECEPTION AT RIPLEY'S AQUARIUM

Ashley and David had there reception at the Ripley's Aquarium, on an outside deck. It was beautiful and the weather couldn't have been better. We had rain right up until Saturday and the day became gorgous.
Linda was a happy, beautiful, and perfect "Mother of the Bride". She looked fabulous and sparkled the whole night.
Tyler was asked to give the toast for his Dad and Miss Ashley, as they call her. He had asked me what he could say and I told him to say what he feels. He said he was glad Miss Ashley was now part of his family and they would need to get a bigger house.
Sparkle and shine! That is what Mom and Dad did all night long.

A very special moment when Ashley and her Grand-daddy had a dance to "My Girl". Then his girls had a dance with him. I think we all surprized him with that. My how young we all look.................right?

Linda and Alan had a great time and happiness was there in full swing.
Ashley and her new husband, David and her new step-children, Tyler and Cameron. They just adore her!

You know, it doesn't matter how hard I try to catch that darn bouquet, it always goes the other way. See that little girl in the pink shorts, well she is going to be the next bride! Go figure. Although I think Ashley was trying for her mom since Alan caught the garter.

Alan was rushing for that one as Bobby thought about it..................just a thought.

Well boys, now I have seen it all. There is Alan showing all the kids how to do the YMCA. I think T-1 and T-2 got the biggest kick out of it. The dancing was a blast and as you can see the boys can dance.

Kim and Ashley grabbed Tyler to get him out there to dance. The things I am learning about my son.......

HI - HO Tyler and Barley

No that is NOT the Lone Ranger, it is Tyler on his pony Barley. He and Barley attended a barrel racing clinic on Saturday and he had a good time. Learned a little bit about his pony and a few good technics on how to have a good run. Entering the gate to a good, full day of lessons with a professional barrel racer!

This was the first barrel of 3. He practiced all morning before watching themselves on video during the lunch break.

Barrel number 2 and look at how close he is! On his way to teaching this pony how to do it right.

And on the the third. The one thing the clinician taught them was to remember,"Practice does not make you perfect . A perfect practice makes you makes you perfect." Meaning if you practice all the time wrong, then it does not make you perfect, but if you practice right and slowly, then you are on your way to a perfect run. Believe it or not, he retained that!

I don't thin Mini McKinney will have to worry about growing out of that pony for a while, he comes from short stock!

GROWING FAST

Wow, everytime I think we are going to simplify, something appears. Last month it was the calves. This month Bob brought his goats, Jykle and Hyde. The light one is Jykle and the dark one is Hyde. They eat EVERYTHING! Maybe I wont have to mow.........

Daz's little boy Shadow is growing fast. He is 3 weeks old and just loves to run around the paddocks. Daz is very protective, but getting better. His legs are almost as long as his mamma's, so he is going to be a big boy.
