As summer quickly approaches, the horses are beginning to look better too. Getting rid of the winter hair, enjoying the geen grass, over hay I might add.

This is Tyler's pony, Barley. I tell everyone he is full of piss and vinegar! He runs all the other horses around when he is with them. What a king wanna be.

This is Goldie, Casey's old 4-H horse that is 23 years old. She still has talent and the kids just love her. She is still a 4-H horse for the neighbor girl and Goldie still has the touch of class!

Meet Jingles, Bob's yearling filly. What a handful she is. Just learning what a horse's life is all about and has come a long way in 2 weeks. Let's see, she has gone through the round pen, and go loose last night. Took a run about across the road to the neighbors only to end up next to Barley.......did I say he wants to be KING?

And these 2 fellows, well they appeared Monday night. OMG, I was told to simplify and I come home to find these guys........lets see, I think I will name them: T-Bone and Chuck. They are too cute and follow you everywhere you go.

This morning when Bob and I arrived in the barn, we were greeted at the stall door by this little baby. It walked right up to us and let us handle it completely! I think it is a he.......everytime I looked either Daz was in the way or it was on the move to get away from me.
One white stocking and a beautiful white face. Tyler has given him a barn name of Shadow, Bob calls him Baldy. Would love to hear your thoughts as now we have to come up with a registered name.

Daddy is- Man With The Moves
Mamma is-Sonnys Bedazzled

Let the suggestions begin!

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE!!! On this bright sunny morning I thought I would sit and try to catch up on a few things and I thought hmmmm..........
My office is just about finished. Well remodeling speaking it is done. Now just to unload all of those boxes of stuff we think we can't let go of and have had in boxes for how many months???? Wow, to decide. Do I need this, do I need that. Does Bob know how to keep his desk clean and not cluttered. Do I know how to keep the clutter down? Oh well, as you can see we have come a long way! This is Bob's desk.

A different view from the door. I started by hanging pictures. Gives the room a lived in look any way. Everyone knows as you start to put things back you start to make a list of what you don't have and need to finish.
First the clock had to to up. Someone in this house has a need to always be thinking of Texas.....Wonder who that would be, not me. The curtains over the chair are from Lauren and Matt and thank you to both for the finishing look when I get the rods to hang them. Remember the list I mentioned? So here is the beginnings of the finished office and boy are we glad to be in there.

How many men does it takes to put up new barn doors?

II arrived home from work tonight to find 5 men and 3 dogs at the barn putting up the new barn doors that Bob and Bobby built over the weekend. I see one man on a ladder, 3 standing around and 1 supervising from a seat on the spear of the tractor with his dog..............

The Office....................

Well last weekend Bobby and Paul were adding the phone line to the office. Can't run a computer without a phone line. Paul, the know how behind the team began out on the roof. He is definately a jack of all trades.

Watching Bobby to make sure he was connecting all wires where they needed to go. Keep watching, we are almost done and there is more to come.

Meet Yoda

Meet Yoda, my Pembroke Welsh Corgi. If you don't know why his name is Yoda, then look at the ears......
He is the only dog I have ever had that will hide treats or try to bury them. It is the funniest thing. As you can see, he has half of a hamburger roll in his mouth. He took this thing up stairs to where he thought he was hiding it. Look very good at Tyler's bedroom door. Look at the bottom on the right. That was he first hiding place. That was Monday night. Since then, he has carried this thing around for 2 days and it is hard as a rock.
This dog is the best!

THE OFFICE SAGA CONTINUES.....

On Saturday, Bobby, Gerry and Yoda continued to work on the office. Gerry made a good supervisor, while Bobby cut and made window casing. Gerry has always told Bobby," MEASURE TWICE AND CUT ONCE"! Well we wont count the time he came out to cut again.
Bobby is a carpenter that is a ham in front of a camera. Can you tell he likes what he is doing. I will ask him when we are done.
Gerry helped where he could. He has had some health issues that prevent him from working like he use to, so he had a nice day out. A peak into the new office from the door to the window. What do you think?
