Well boys, now I have seen it all. There is Alan showing all the kids how to do the YMCA. I think T-1 and T-2 got the biggest kick out of it. The dancing was a blast and as you can see the boys can dance.

Kim and Ashley grabbed Tyler to get him out there to dance. The things I am learning about my son.......

HI - HO Tyler and Barley

No that is NOT the Lone Ranger, it is Tyler on his pony Barley. He and Barley attended a barrel racing clinic on Saturday and he had a good time. Learned a little bit about his pony and a few good technics on how to have a good run. Entering the gate to a good, full day of lessons with a professional barrel racer!

This was the first barrel of 3. He practiced all morning before watching themselves on video during the lunch break.

Barrel number 2 and look at how close he is! On his way to teaching this pony how to do it right.

And on the the third. The one thing the clinician taught them was to remember,"Practice does not make you perfect . A perfect practice makes you makes you perfect." Meaning if you practice all the time wrong, then it does not make you perfect, but if you practice right and slowly, then you are on your way to a perfect run. Believe it or not, he retained that!

I don't thin Mini McKinney will have to worry about growing out of that pony for a while, he comes from short stock!

GROWING FAST

Wow, everytime I think we are going to simplify, something appears. Last month it was the calves. This month Bob brought his goats, Jykle and Hyde. The light one is Jykle and the dark one is Hyde. They eat EVERYTHING! Maybe I wont have to mow.........

Daz's little boy Shadow is growing fast. He is 3 weeks old and just loves to run around the paddocks. Daz is very protective, but getting better. His legs are almost as long as his mamma's, so he is going to be a big boy.

ROONER'S GRADUATION !!!

My little Rooner's day had finally come. A long 4 years of dedication and a chance to meet new people. Here she is with her good friend Katie marching to their seats for commencement at Penn State Dubois.
What a prize winning smile after getting her diploma from Chancellor McDonald.
All of the girls from age 23 to 72! Wow do the years fly by.
Me and my girls! Who would have known how beautiful they would be, not to mention how wonderful too! I thank God everyday for them and the little man not in the picture. (Tyler)

The Farm Grows On

Well, this is a colt, (boy), and I like some of the names. BUT as I was in that area of waking up, but not quite awake, I came up with,"Sonnys Man On The Move". What do you all think?

Look at the size of those legs! And the face gets cuter everyday.

Mamma and baby are doing better and we are able to handle each without Daz getting upset about us handling her baby.

She stands guard probably waiting for her grain and hay.

This is Peanut. You met her when I started my blog. She has grown and is almost as beautiful as Goldie. She is a gem and fun to play with each day.

Looking good little girl!
Oh and girls, knock it off about the calves. Yes they are cute, but they will taste good too and I will remind you next time you have a hamberger or steak! Hahaha

As summer quickly approaches, the horses are beginning to look better too. Getting rid of the winter hair, enjoying the geen grass, over hay I might add.

This is Tyler's pony, Barley. I tell everyone he is full of piss and vinegar! He runs all the other horses around when he is with them. What a king wanna be.

This is Goldie, Casey's old 4-H horse that is 23 years old. She still has talent and the kids just love her. She is still a 4-H horse for the neighbor girl and Goldie still has the touch of class!

Meet Jingles, Bob's yearling filly. What a handful she is. Just learning what a horse's life is all about and has come a long way in 2 weeks. Let's see, she has gone through the round pen, and go loose last night. Took a run about across the road to the neighbors only to end up next to Barley.......did I say he wants to be KING?

And these 2 fellows, well they appeared Monday night. OMG, I was told to simplify and I come home to find these guys........lets see, I think I will name them: T-Bone and Chuck. They are too cute and follow you everywhere you go.

This morning when Bob and I arrived in the barn, we were greeted at the stall door by this little baby. It walked right up to us and let us handle it completely! I think it is a he.......everytime I looked either Daz was in the way or it was on the move to get away from me.
One white stocking and a beautiful white face. Tyler has given him a barn name of Shadow, Bob calls him Baldy. Would love to hear your thoughts as now we have to come up with a registered name.

Daddy is- Man With The Moves
Mamma is-Sonnys Bedazzled

Let the suggestions begin!
